He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Watson and Anna Belle Watson; and his siblings, Brenda Crandol, Wanda Langston and Chris Watson, Sr..

He is survived by: his brother Joe Watson (Jan); his brother-in-law Jerry Crandol; and his nieces and nephews, Heather Meade, Holly Courtney, Sara Watson-Ivey, Chris Watson, Jr., Brittany Heal, Amanda Wood, Kelly Payne, Melissa Goode and Amanda Crandol. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
