She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Hayes Russ, Sr. and Bessie Ellen Lassiter Russ; her husband Charlie Frank Ellenor, Jr.; her children, Delores Ann Ellenor Gowarty (Dean Hand) and Charlie Frank Ellenor III (Heidi Turner); her grandchildren, Morgan Gowarty Montague (Dexter Montague), Savannah Monet Gowarty, Brianne Emerson Ellenor and Avery Russ Ellenor; her great grandchild Margot Frances Montague; her pets, Ace and Gates; her siblings, William Hayes "Bill" Russ, Jr. (Jackie Lilley Russ) and Delores Robens (Raymond Burner); and her nephew William Hayes Russ, III.
A memorial service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kittrell's United Methodist Church (902 NC-37, Gates, NC 27937). A reception was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Social Hall of the Church.
