He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph John Wise, Jr. and Alice Shirley Proffitt Wise; his wife Mildred Charlotte Clements "Millie" Wise; and his siblings, Sarah Wise, Shirley Joan Wise and William Dennis Wise.
He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Plows (Steve) of Richfield Springs, NY, Dawn Wise of Chicago, IL, Ray Wise, Jr. (Peige) of Henderson, NV and Mike Wise, Sr. (Diane) of Hertford; his brother Joseph John Wise, III (Kathleen) of Lynchburg, VA; his sister-in-law Linda Wise of Windsor, CT; his grandchildren, Ashley Pahr (Joshua), Kayla Collins (Daniel), Mike Wise, Jr. (Bailey), Courtney Wise, Samantha Calkins and Christopher Calkins; his great grandchildren, Aubree and Lyela; and also Walter Black. He is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews, and 16 great-nieces and nephews.
