He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Ward and Lucy Ward. He is survived by: his wife Elsie Smith Ward; his son George T. Riddick of Gatesville, NC; his sister Martha Hill; and his grandchildren, Justin Davis, Shannon Davis (Jamese) of Gatesville, NC, Christy Riddick of Gatesville, NC and Derrick Riddick of Newport News, VA. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and many friends.
