We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2022, at the age of 94, Lilton Umphlett Jr. of Gates, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hagood Lilton Umphlett, Sr. and Della Eure Umphlett; his wife Doris Howell Umphlett; and his siblings, Malene U. Eure and Robert E. Umphlett.
He is survived by: his sons, Donnie Umphlett (Barbara) of Corapeake and Kenny Umphlett (Kelly); his grandchildren, Josh Umphlett (René) of Greenville, Drew Umphlett (Courtney) of Sylva, Kimberly Umphlett of Nags Head and Stephen Umphlett (Chelsea); and his great grandchildren, Silas, C. C., Tash Umphlett and Hannah Garner.
