As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto John Paul Schwab and Martha Eure Schwab; and his sister Joyce Brunson. He is survived by: his sons, John Carroll Schwab, Jr. (Pam) of Camden and Paul Vernon Schwab (Amber) of Moyock; and his granddaughter Megan Schwab.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Oxford Children's Home, 600 College Street, Oxford, NC 27565.
