He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Sears and Eunice Riddick Sears. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Sears of Knightdale, NC; his children, Teresa Gail Dunston of Knightdale, NC and Malcolm Sears (Barbara) of Knightdale, NC; and his siblings, Mable Sears of Gates, NC and Albert Sears (Ellie) of Albuquerque. He is also survived by six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
A reception will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hunter's Funeral Home- Gates (701 US-158, Gates, NC 27937).
