It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Asa Harrell (Gates, North Carolina), who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Louise Smith Harrell Howell; his wife Winifred Sessoms "Winky" Harrell; his son Keith Tyrone Harrell; and his sister Dorothy Jean Harrell. He is survived by: his daughters, Jackie Ashley (Andy) of Gates and Kim Presley (Billy) of Gates; his brother Bob Harrell of Alabama; his grandchildren, Matthew, John Ashley, Brandon Eure (Tosha) and Joanna Bradley (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Ciara, Harper, Easton, Asa Ashley, Gavin, Skylar Eure, Myah, Bryleigh and Ellie Bradley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A memorial service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Reynoldson Baptist Church (73 Reynoldson Rd, Gates, NC 27937).
