We bid farewell to Edith Freeman Seiling of Gates, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 30, 2024 at the age of 105. Edith Freeman touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ray and Virginia Elizabeth Pittman Freeman; her husband Franklin Sylvester Seiling; her son-in-law Michael Douglas Lefler; and her siblings, Anita Freeman Godwin, Joseph Ray Freeman, Jr. and Julian Pittman Freeman.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Seiling "Peggy" Lefler and William Franklin Seiling (Amy) of Gates; her granddaughters, Erin Seiling (William Cole) of Raleigh and Sara Seiling Greene (R. C.) of Lenior; her great grandchildren, Teagan and Madeline; her niece Anna Freeman Ward; her nephews, Ray Freeman, III and Pitt Godwin; and her caregivers, Dr. Nash Mitrovic, MD, Mary Edla Buck, Linda Rose, Linda Hudgins, Sadie Riddick, Cathy Parker Collins, Leah Fay and Cathy Vick.
