He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Boyd and Fannie Wiggins Boyd; his wife Pauline Boyd of Virginia Beach, VA; his children, Rita Knight of Gates, NC, Janet Thorpe (Arthur) of Gates, NC, Genenive Wilder (Tyrell) of Durham, NC, Randolph Boyd (Cassie) of Gates, NC, Kenny Boyd of Gates, NC and Stanley Boyd of Chesapeake, VA; and his sister Mattie Boyd Jackson of Hampton, VA. He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; step-children; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
