He is survived by: his parents, Scott Burrell of Mt. Holly, NC and Beverly Widener; his stepfather Bob Widener of Spartanburg, SC; his brothers, Matthew Brown of Spartanburg, SC and Andy Widener of Greensboro, NC.; and his grandfathers, Dennis Burrell and Edward "Sonny".
