She was predeceased by: her parent Rube Stillwell Simpson. She is survived by: her husband Charles H. Barnes; her brother Jerry Claude Stillwell; her nieces and nephews, Jerry Timothy Stillwell, Melonie Stillwell Seay, Tony Seay, Carolyn Stillwell Thomas, David Thomas and Brenda Stillwell; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jerry Thomas (Angie), Travis Seay, Taylor Seay, Joshua Stillwell (Haley) and Wesley Ledwell; her nephews, Levi Thomas, Kyler Thomas and Gabriel Stewart; her sister-in-law Evelyn Stillwell; her close friend Josephine Wallace; and also, Tyler Thomas (Ashley), Hunter Thomas, Hanna Davis, Parker Stillwell and Kennedy Stillwell.
The Barnes family has requested in lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of "Aunt Wook" may be made to Southminster Church, 1401 Hoffman Road, Gastonia, NC 28054.
