We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2020, at the age of 94, William Stephenson (Gastonia, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Edward and Della Batten Stephenson; and his sisters, Doris Thompson, Mildred Adams and Ruby Coats.

He is survived by: his wife Cornelia Lina Watson; his children, Kenna Stephenson Watts (John III) of Gastonia and Wesley Edward Stephenson (Whitney) of Winston-Salem; and his grandchildren, John Watts IV (Caroline), Coralie Watts, Jenna Stephenson and Tate Stephenson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1467, Wilson, NC 27894-1467.
