He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Lewis Owens Sr. and Sallie Teague Owens; and his brother Charles Edward Owens. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Owens; his daughters, Taylor Lynn Owens and Marie Clark; his stepchildren, Earl Barnes, Bruce Barnes, Sue Krumlinde, Cynathia Coomey and Tina Rhodes; and his siblings, Pastor Marshall Owens (Linda), Richard Owens (Jeniene), Shelby Canipe, Mary Walker, Shirley Lewis and Patricia Bradley. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
