Willa Painter Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2020, at the age of 84, Willa Painter (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Waco, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Loran Hord and Ellen Bryte Hord; her husband James Lee Painter; and her brothers, Sloan, Ben, Carl David and Barkley Hord.

She is survived by: her daughters, Luellen "Lu" Williford (Eric) and Jennie Painter Watson; her granddaughters, Amanda "Mandy" Drum (Matt), Cassie Ritchie (Chris) and Aimee Watson; her great grandchildren, McKenna Birch, Mayer Drum, Jace Watson, Cayden and Tenley Ritchie; and her siblings, Charles, Bobby Joe Hord, Brenda Morrow (Keith) and LuAnn Gamble. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
