Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Wilburn Thomas Queen of Gastonia, North Carolina, born in Pacolet, South Carolina, who passed away at the age of 94, on January 21, 2022. He was predeceased by: his wife Maxine Mobley Queen; his daughter Kimberly Queen Leaphart; and his siblings, Rev. Ellard Odell Queen, Waddell Queen, Vernon Queen, Jr., Frances Queen Edwards and Helen Queen Neagle of Virginia.

He is survived by: his children, Teresa (Leslie Davis), Sandy (Tim Rollins) and Mark Thomas Queen; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Clements, Caleb Davis, Canaan Morehead, Jordan Rollins, Taylor Leaphart and Sarah Brinton. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to be made to: Cramerton Historical Society, P.O. Box 68, Cramerton, North Carolina 28032.
