He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John L. Petty and Corene Morris Petty; his brother Gregory Petty; his close friend Anna Reeves; his sister Linda Payseur (David); his sister-in-law Bennie Petty; his niece Erin Oeth (Steven); his nephews, Eric Payseur (Monika), Leander Petty (Traci) and Zane Petty (Nicole); and his cousins, Albert, Donna Petty, Chris Petty, Cecil, Reba Willis, Rock, Sue Mills, Mike, Pat Forbes and Lynn Mills.
