It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walker McGinnis Hayes (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on February 20, 2023, at the age of 17, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Reginald "Reggie" Kelly Hayes. He is survived by: his parents, Tim Hayes and Monica Jenkins Hayes; his sisters, Shelby and Sarah Grace; his grandparents, Rachel Green Hayes, Ray and Charlotte Jenkins; his uncle Jeff Hayes (Kelly); and his cousins, Claire and Mason.
