She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Rudd and Cora Lutrell Rudd; her husband Jimmy Carl Wright; her son Jimmy David Wright (Jeannie); and her siblings, Maril Lee Rudd, Carrie Etla Rudd Ford, Willie Rudd and Shirley Jaco.
She is survived by: her children, Regina Norris (Don), Rhonda Akers (Richard), Vickey Lynn Hale (Justin) and Carl Matthew Wright. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home (2916 Union Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
