He is survived by: his wife Martha Streetman Westmoreland; his son David; his daughter-in-law Pamela D. Westmoreland; his daughter Margaret W.; his son-in-law Jonathan Griffin; his grandchildren, Katie Carrick (Wingo Wong), Dana Westmoreland and Will Carrick; his great grandchildren, Roslin and Winslow Wong; his sister Harriet; his brother-in-law Robert Schneider of Columbia, MD; and his brothers, William (Elisabet Westmoreland) and Sweden.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Tom be sent to New Hope Presbyterian Church, 4357 S New Hope Road, Gastonia, NC 28054.
