He is survived by: his children, Tom Kirkland, Jr. (Emily), Della "Jeff" Kirkland, Peggy Kirkland Knight (Kevin), Patty Kirkland Rudisill (Jim) and Bill Kirkland (Selina). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
