He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Dixon and Hattie Spencer Dixon; his wife Melva Boggs Dixon; and his stepson Tommy Davis. He is survived by: his son Charles "Strawberry" Dixon; his daughter-in-law Jackie; his grandsons, Charlie Dixon (Paulina) and Carson Dixon (Kate); his stepson Rick Davis (Patsy); his stepgrandchildren, Chad, Clint, Keith and Felicia Davis; and his pet Maxine.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southminster Presbyterian Church, 1401 Hoffman Road, Gastonia, NC 28054 In remembrance of Tom's kind spirit, dedication to service, and unwavering friendship, he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
