She was predeceased by: her father Dennis Greenwood; her husband Darrell Martin; and her siblings, Fraylow Greenwood, William Greenwood and Mary Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Shelia McCurry (Monte) of Lowell, NC, Dale Martin (Martha) of Kings Mountain, NC and Steve Greenwood (Marie) of Clover, SC; and her grandchildren, Kyle McCurry (Suzette) of Bessemer City, NC, Ashley McCurry Jenkins (Joseph) of Bessemer City, NC., Chris Greenwood (Gina Hacker), Steve Greenwood II of Grover, NC and Donna Evans (Robbie) of Hickory Grove, SC. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made in Thelma's name to Anthony Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 100 Anthony Grove Road, Crouse, NC 28033.
