With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma Hardy (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on January 9, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tatum Dailey and Cora Dailey; her husband Roy Hardy; her daughter Mary; her son-in-law Ray Emory; her children, Calvin Hardy, Douglas Hardy and Patricia Ann; her son-in-law Frank Collier; her grandchildren, David McGill and Elaine Pagell; and her great grandchildren, Amber and Matthew.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Collier and Tim Hardy (Theda); and her grandchildren, Charlene Friday, Scott Emory, Houston Collier (Lori), Amy Sparrow (David), Adam Hardy (Cathy), Angela Vincent (Frank), Annette Hardy, Susan Hardy, Theresa Hardy, Kim Hardy and Lisa Hardy. She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; 3 great great great grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Flint Groves Baptist Church, 2023 Flint Lane, Gastonia, NC 28054.
