She was predeceased by: her parents, Kaywood and Edna; and her siblings, Kay, Jimmy and Johnny.

She is survived by: her husband Lemuel Whisnant, Jr.; her children, Bill (Tracey), Ron (Linda), Barry, Robin and Ann (James); her grandchildren, Brian (Leslie), Justin (Alyssa), Jessica (Mark), David, Hale, Leah, Austin and Ashleigh; her great grandchildren, Beau, Noelle, Anderson and Ellie; and her sister Margaret.

Flowers are appreciated, but if preferred, donations to Zion Baptist Church are appreciated.
