It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Terry James Gibson of Gastonia, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Gibson and Carrie Bell Gibson; and his siblings, James, Bud, Mary, Roy, Howard, Robert Gibson and Nellie Ledford.

He is survived by: his wife Tammy Robinson Gibson; his children, Mandy Gibson Champion (Brandon) and Jason Gibson (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Lexie Dunn, Chloe Gibson, Makenize Harris, Atleigh Gibson, Kaelye Owens, Madison Gibson, Sawyer Barber and Jemma Gibson; his siblings, Paul, Dan Gibson and Ellie Rhyne; and his mother-in-law Myrle Bates.

Memorials may be made to Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 1326 Cedar Avenue, Gastonia, NC 28054.
