It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terry Gene Derreberry Sr. (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David A. Derreberry and Lassie Postell Derreberry; his son Terry G. Derreberry, Jr.; his granddaughter Brittany Leigh Bridges; and his siblings, Ralph, Ray Derreberry, Lillian Voyles and Peggy Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Parker Derreberry; his daughter Tammy Wright; his grandson Patrick Utt (Erica Robinson); his great grandchildren, Kyndall Bridges, Mila Revis, Jace and Kade Marlow; his siblings, David (Joyce Derreberry), Steve Derreberry and Virginia Falls; and his sister-in-law Peggy (James Kirk). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
