He was predeceased by: his parents, Armstead Edward Clifton and Mittie Arvelea Davenport Clifton; his son John Steven Clifton; and his siblings, Carl, Merle, Clyde Clifton, Nixie Clifton Patrick, Margaret Seagroves and Mary Clifton.
He is survived by: his children, April Clifton Willis (Gene) and Donnie Clifton (Amanda); his grandchildren, Jarrett Willis, Thomas Willis (Lillian), Zachary Clifton (Grace Hurlocker) and Kirsten Clifton; and his great grandchildren, Franklin and Evelyn Willis.
