We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2022, at the age of 91, Shirley Montgomery Faires (Gastonia, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Belvin Faires; her son-in-law Martin Duffy; and her brother Robert "Bob" Montgomery. She is survived by: her daughters, Dianne Duffy of Wilmington, NC and Debbie Hughes (Mike) of Mt Holly, NC. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes to support Devonshire Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC or Beth Haven Baptist Church in Denver, NC.
