She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Cabe and Drucilla Cabe; her husband Earl Kenneth Brackett; her daughter Melinda Brackett Causey; and her siblings, Dorothy Parton, Floyd Cabe, Barbara Wilson and Carolyn Henderson.

She is survived by: her son George Kenneth Brackett (Mary); her son-in-law Robert Causey; her grandchildren, Kelsey Causey, Johnny Clark (Emily) and Niki Clark (Jeremy Nolen); her great grandchildren, Maylin Cooper and Riley Cooper; and her sisters, Faye Allen, Joyce Swicegood (Jackie), Patsy Mesimer (Terry) and Helen McCaskill. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
