She was predeceased by: her parents, Linwood (Annie Watkins) and NJ; her grandparents, Will Freeman Watkins, Rosanna Ellerbe, Robert Harris and Ethel Beaty; and her sister Annie Mae Jones.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ayesha Watkins Smith (Anthony C. Smith) of Gastonia, NC and Jameelah Watkins Paschal of Gastonia, NC; her granddaughters, Rhema T. Smith and Zoe R. Smith of Gastonia, NC; her nieces, Shonda Jones and Natasha Jones; her great-nieces, Asia, Brittany and L'Chonda; and her great-nephew Sharod.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Faith Fellowship (2854 Beaty Rd, Gastonia, NC 28056). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
