She was predeceased by: her parents, James Preston Jenkins and Winnie Boan Jenkins; her husband James Floyd Steen; and her daughter Brenda Gayle Steen. She is survived by: her children, James Steen and Patricia Lester (Anthony); her brothers, Reese and Buck Jenkins; and her grandchildren, Kenneth Ray Steen, Angela Marie Steen, Brandy Nichole Steen, Kayla Renee Steen, David Allen Pate and Amber Lacole Steen. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
