Sheila Adair Heavener Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2022, at the age of 86, Sheila Adair Heavener (Gastonia, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Floyd Adair and Gwendolyn Erma Mills Adair; her husband Kenneth Reid Heavener; and her brother Barry Adair. She is survived by: her children, Sherri Heavener Walters (Butch), Lisa Heavener (Bryan McCarty) and Steven Reid Heavener (Tweet); her grandson Hunter Reid Heavener (Emma Grace); her cousin Jonnie Adair Mabe (Allen); and her nieces, Tracy Adair Glover (David), Leslie Freeman Porter (Rob), Kelli Freeman Owens (David) and Shannon Freeman Oliver (Jay).
The Heavener family has requested in lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Sheila may be sent to First ARP Church, 317 S Chester Street, Gastonia, NC 28052.
