It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Joanne Hardee (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on May 30, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mausby Hyleman and Margaret Stubbs Hyleman; her son Billy Hardee; and her siblings, Lois Price, Nadine Woods, Virginia Lytton, Nancy Boone, Eddie Hyleman, Bill Hyleman and Ken Hyleman.

She is survived by: her husband Elwood Hardee; her children, Gary Hardee (Sherry), Glen Hardee (Pam), Jeff Hardee (Kelly), Alan Hardee (Jenny) and Beth Champion (Pete); and her siblings, Grover Hyleman, Elaine Lawrence and Karen Hyleman. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
