She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eldor Rupp and Hildegard Rupp; her sibling Jerry; her sons, Andy (Lisa Jurs) and Peter (Katherine Jurs); her grandchildren, Drew Jurs, Linnea Jurs and Sophie Jurs; her siblings, Lynne Haarlow of Chicago, IL and John Rupp of Richmond, VA; and her sisters-in-law, Nina Rupp of Dallas, TX and Barbara Redar of Greenfield, IN. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended friends.

Her relationship with Amazon was quite strong, especially during the pandemic.
