Whitson; her son Andrew Scott Whitson of Gastonia; her siblings, David Anthony Green (Jackie) of Lenoir and Julie Chapman (Jeremy) of Dallas; her father-in-law Raymond Whitson of Gastonia; her sister-in-law Joanie Farr (Joe) of Lake Wylie; her niece Emily Farr of Briana Mayhall; her nephews, Jake Farr and David Lewis; and also Jennifer Guthrie of Bessemer City.
