He was predeceased by: his parents, Etta Blackwell Vickers and William P. Vickers; and his sons, Danny and Steven Vickers. He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Russell (Mark), Sharon Athey (Tim) and Kimberly Pfaff; his sister-in-law Rita Messer; and his friend Rev. George "Sonny" Miller. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; along with a number of nieces and nephews.
