It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sadie Mae Sanders of Gastonia, North Carolina, born in York, South Carolina, who passed away on September 28, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jenkins, Jr. and Elizabeth Carpenter Chastaine; her husband Rocky Lane Sanders; her son Thomas Patton Glenn; her grandchildren, Logan Sanders, Destiny and Rilee; and her siblings, John Jenkins, Loretta Underdown, Randy Jenkins, Elizabeth Walker and William Jenkins.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Glenn, Cynthia Glenn, Ronnie Sanders and Rachel Burk (Hanalei); and her sister Iris Barger. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
