It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Hipps Houser (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on January 28, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hipps and Elsie Hipps; her brothers, R. Harold and Trevlin Hipps; and her nephew Jeff Hipps.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne Houser; her sons, John (Linda Houser) and Dwayne (Tiffany Houser); her grandchildren, John Wayne Houser and Mary Elizabeth Saussy; and her great grandchild John Charles Saussy.
