He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Miller and Esther Young Miller; and his stepdaughter Kelly Childers. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Burgin Miller; his daughter Amy Childers Simpson; his stepdaughters, Sharon Roy and Kim Darwin; his granddaughters, Emily Bryson, Shelby Price, Beverly Chastain and Jamey Lindsay; and his nephew Charlie Miller. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
