She was predeceased by: her father Sheldon Davis Stephens; her brother Hubert Black; her son James Paul Mullis; and her great grandchild Ruby Adeline Lawing. She is survived by: her son David Allen Mullis (Theresa "Sue") of Gastonia; her daughter-in-law Lydia C. Mullis of Gastonia; her grandchildren, Phoebe Renae Mullis Lawing (Benny) of Gastonia, Robert Michael Mullis (Patty) of Boiling Springs and Anissa Michele Mullis Mobley (Everett) of Mt. Holly; her great grandchildren, Madison Lawing (Blake Westbrook), McKayla Mullis Bearden (Katelyn), Andrew Gardner (Kaila), Wesley Mullis, Matthew Mullis, McCoy Lawing, Emmily Mobley, Kylee Mullis, Harper Lawing, Everett "Evan" Mobley III and Elizabeth Mobley; and her great great grandchild Graison Miller Gardner.
