He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud Arnold Marr and Ruby Gana King Marr; and his sister Clare Marr Jenkins. He is survived by: his wife Rose Moten Marr; his sons, Ronald Brent Marr of Cornelius, Jonathan David Marr (Hayley Lowry Marr) and Henry Stuart Marr of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Stacy McSwain, Tyler Marr, Kelsey Marr, Whitney Marr and Parker Marr; his great grandchildren, Carter McSwain and Pierson McSwain; and his siblings, Dewitt Marr of Clover, SC, Mike Marr of Clover, SC and Sherrill Marr Hurley of Holden Beach.
