He was predeceased by: his parents, Romaine Houston and Geneva Houston Watterson; his former wife Betty F. Houston; his siblings, Annette J. Reed and Sonny Houston; his stepsister Rosie Watterson; and his stepfather Paul Watterson.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Buchanan Houston; his daughter Rheta Houston Chambers (Lloyd); his grandchildren, Chambers (Danielle) and Kendyl Campbell (Connor); his great grandchild Stella Houston Campbell; and his stepbrother Jim Watterson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
