He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Ann Kirkpatrick and Thomas Kirkpatrick; his wife Emily; his sons, William Miller Kirkpatrick of Rochester, NY, Ian, Alexys Kirkpatrick of Kings Mountain, NC and Andrew Neal Kirkpatrick of Chapel Hill, NC; his grandchild Callum Van Kirkpatrick; and his siblings, Amy Seiden (Rex), Wes Kirkpatrick (Cindy), Del Kirkpatrick (Cristina) and Gil Kirkpatrick (Lisa Lynne).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Home for Children (Anderson, SC) or Crisis Pregnancy Center of Gaston County.

“RON was my DR for 17 years and my mom too he was so wise and would listen to what you were saying .i would ask how your family doing hhe said they are fine always ask about his mom .he knew i was my mom caregiver with my daughter help since i have stage 3 copd .But most of all Ron was a up beat DR. who truly showed his compassion for his patiences he has went above and beyond any DR. i have ever ,saw. To the family of RON KIRKPATRICK my heart breaks for you and your family .praying for you AMEN”
