He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Monroe and Marie Cantrell Glenn; his wife Beatrice Williams Glenn; and his brother Neil Wayne Glenn. He is survived by: his children, Richard Roger Glenn (Dianne) of Sequatchie, TN, Maurice Richard Meeker, II (Sandy) of Belmont, NC and Teresa Renee Ramsey (Steve) of Lincolnton, NC; his grandchildren, Christopher Ryan Glenn, Terra Jade Daughtry, Lauren Ramsey Medlin, Brian Christopher Ramsey, Chad Stevenson Ramsey, Maurice Richard Meeker, III and Steven Rush Meeker; his brother Don Allen Glenn of Indiana; and his pet Chi Chi. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Berea Baptist Church, 2522 Hickory Grove Rd., Gastonia, NC 28056.
