It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lee Poovey III of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Poovey Jr. and Edna Davis Poovey; his wife Marsha Lee Crosby Poovey; and his son Robert (Lee Poovey, IV). He is survived by: his son Matt Poovey (Melissa Hood Poovey) of Charlotte, NC; and his grandchildren, Annabelle and Will.
