He is survived by: his wife Mary Mullins Atkins; his sons, Samuel Charles Atkins of Kentucky and Robert Lepport Atkins of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Robert Atkins Jr., Trevez Bartley, Samuel Izaiah Bartley, Samuel Noah Atkins and Samiel Charles Antonio Bartley; his great grandchild Meredith; and his brother Morris Atkins. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews.
