McPhail of Gastonia; his children, Richard Vardry, McPhail, III (Wimberly) of Atlanta, GA, Kirk McClure Hamilton of Gastonia, NC, Krystal Gray Foy of Lake Charles, LA, Elizabeth "Beth" Rawlings Hall (Richard) of Mooresville, NC, Crystal Gayle McPhail (Sebastian Schaefer) of Norfolk, VA and Charles Zachary Gray; his grandchildren, Walker, Phillip and Hampton McPhail; his children, Scotty, Tommy, Willie Foy, Anne Rawlings, Nate Hamilton, Laney and Will Hall; and his sisters, Martha Elaine McPhail of Weaverville, NC and Elizabeth "Liz" McPhail Hyde (Marcus) of Gastonia, NC.
