With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Rankin Jarman of Gastonia, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 21, 2024 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Jarman, Sr. and Mary Delia Rankin Jarman; and his brother William Henry Jarman, Jr.. He is survived by: his significant other Kerry Lamm Jarman; his son Richard "Rich" Rankin Jarman Jr. (Amanda); his grandchildren, Clete, Saylor and Wade; and his close friend Louise Love Keir.
