With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Danny Strange of Gastonia, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2024 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Eldon Strange and Edith Porter Stone. He is survived by: his wife Helen Hendren Strange of Gastonia, NC; his daughter Paula Santinelli (Daniel); his grandchildren, Avery and Eli Santinelli; his sisters-in-law, Doris Whitesides and Janice Hendren Whitley; his brothers, Dennis Whitesides and Reggie Whitesides; and his sister-in-law Linda Whitesides. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
